DGW is also proud to offer innovative low-iron glass products, which offer maximum transparency and clarity by providing crystal clear glass, without the green tint usually found in standard float glass.

This unrivalled clarity is achieved by using silica sand with a low-iron content during glass making, removing the impurities that cloud standard float glass. When painted, iron glass is able to represent and enhance colours, especially light colours, much more effectively than standard float glass.
